These are the Captain Logs of the ongoing voyages of Staria Trek as it makes its way around the Great Southern Land (Australia). The logs of Trek’s voyages are a record for the Captain and Crew and for all who may find the logs of interest.
Captain – Kate. I have been camping, glamping, travelling and exploring different parts of our amazing country for a sometime now. I ran the Let’s Go Travel Australia website for over 17 years. I started camping when I was very young. The desire to travel and explore is still there despite the change in circumstances. It’s in my blood to travel, I love to explore new areas and get away from the hustle and bustle of life.
I am keen nature and landscape photographer. I had been involved in entering National and International Competitions and have photographic honours within Australian and with FIAP, (International Federation of Photographic Art).
Science Officer – Chris. Whether Chris is here in body or spirit he will always be apart of the crew. His advice, wisdom and knowledge he has instilled into his captain will continue to help guide her through the voyages of life.
Navigator/First officer – Jess. Jess is a beautiful Labrador who likes to follow her nose and sometimes leads us up the garden path. She makes a loyal companion and additional security officer.

We set up this site up for our own records and so friends and family could follow our travels, we have made this site public as some of the information might be helpful to other travellers.
